Job summary

Barnard Grove Primary School wishes to appoint a cleaner on a permanent basis. The role is part-time, 10 hours per week during term time (190 days per year), with a 3:30pm–5:30pm schedule, Monday to Friday. Salary is £5,827.02 per annum.

The post commences as soon as possible and requires an enhanced DBS check. The successful candidate will undertake cleaning duties to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the school.

Barnard Grove Primary School wishes to appoint a cleaner, to assist in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across the school. The post will commence as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will undertake all cleaning duties concerned with the operation of the school, i.e. sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying litter bins, polishing and dusting designated areas, which include toilets and associated facilities, fixtures and fittings.

Candidates will have experience of working in a cleaning role, and be able to meet the criteria detailed on the person specification.

Barnard Grove Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. As such the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
