Job summary

Norse Group LTD, on behalf of Upperwood Academy, is seeking a part-time Cleaner for a temporary term-time role. You will work 13.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 4:30pm–7:15pm, keeping classrooms and facilities clean and well-maintained.

The role offers training, annual leave, a pension scheme, and sickness cover. An enhanced DBS check will be required and the employer will meet the DBS cost.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships on-site
• Confident working independently to your own initiative
• Good organisational skills, with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and rooms: dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming.
• Empty bins, clean restrooms, and keep sanitising stations stocked.
• Build on-site relationships with clients.
• Follow health and safety at all times.
• Report any defects or damages.

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean and organized spaces,who values responsibility and enjoys working on their own initiative.You’ll be working 13.75 hours per week,Monday to Friday4:30pm - 7:15pm

• Cleaning floors and rooms including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Emptying bins, cleaning restrooms, and ensuring sanities stations are full.
• Building relationships with clients on site.
• Following health and safety at all times.
• Report any defects or damages.

Our Successful Candidate:

We will ideally be looking for you to demonstrate previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role, alongside;

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site
• Confident working independently to your own initiative
• Good organisational skills, with attention to detail
