Wyre Primary School is seeking a reliable part-time Cleaner to join the team on a temporary basis. You will maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for pupils, staff, and visitors within Wyre Primary School.

Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms and communal areas, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance or safety concerns. The role offers consistent part-time hours with school support throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times.
• Understanding of health and safety practices within a cleaning environment.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, or willingness to obtain one.

• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting designated areas.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Replenishing consumables such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels.
• Ensuring all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly.
• Reporting any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns to the appropriate person.
• Following school cleaning schedules and procedures at all times.

• Hours: 15:30 - 17:30, Monday to Friday
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Immediate start until mid-January
• Pay: Competitive hourly rate
