Job summary

South West Norse is recruiting a part-time Cleaner at Wembury Primary School in Devon, delivering day-to-day cleaning and ad-hoc tasks after school hours.

You will work 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3:30pm–6:00pm, with full training provided and a company pension, annual leave, and opportunities for progression within a national organisation. A DBS check is required and you will deliver high standards of hygiene and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial cleaning environment is advantageous.
• Full training and support will be provided for enthusiastic individuals.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day routine cleaning and ad-hoc tasks as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor.
• Maintain hygiene levels across all communal areas and deliver high-standard customer service.

Job description

Working both independently and within a close team, you will be responsible for carrying out day to day routine and ad-hoc cleaning services as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor, ensuring that the necessary standards are met and operating in line with Client and Norse Policies and Procedures. Whilst maintaining hygiene levels is an important part of site safety across all communal areas, this consumer facing role will require you to deliver high standard of customer service to the clients across the facility.
If you have previously worked within a commercial cleaning environment then this would be an advantage however, at Norse we can offer full training and support for enthusiastic individuals if you can demonstrate:

• Ability to work to defined standards in a quality driven environment
• Good communication skills, capable of building relationships with colleagues, clients and members of the public
• Comfortable working independently to your own initiative as well as being part of a team
