We're looking for caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in secondary schools across Wakefield. Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant, a recent graduate, or someone with experience supporting children or young people, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work alongside teachers to support pupils' learning, build confidence, and help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can succeed.
Key responsibilities include:
Experience working with children or young people in an educational, childcare, coaching or support setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, patient and proactive approach
The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
