Are you an experienced and compassionate Class Teacher with a passion for supporting young people with Autism and additional learning needs? This lovely special school in South Birmingham is seeking a committed Class Teacher to join their dedicated team on a permanent basis from September 2025.
This school caters for secondary-aged students with Autism and complex learning needs, offering a supportive environment and personalised curriculum. As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to meet a wide range of needs. You will work alongside skilled teaching assistants and benefit from excellent leadership and CPD opportunities. This role requires a teacher who is patient, creative, and passionate about helping every pupil thrive.
Job Role:
• Teaching a class of pupils with Autism and complex learning needs
• Planning and delivering a tailored curriculum based on individual needs
• Working closely with teaching assistants and therapists to support pupils’ development
