Job description

Job Opportunity: SEN Teacher

Location: Longdon Hall School, Lichfield, Staffordshire WS15 4PT

Salary: Up to GBP36,925.00 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4pm (4:30pm on Mondays)

Contract: Fixed Term (until May 2026) - Maternity Cover, Term Time Only

Start Date: September 2025

Role Overview

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate SEN Teacher to join our close-knit team at Longdon Hall School, part of Acorn Education. In this role, you will respond to the needs of pupils with autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs, helping them thrive.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons, developing innovative teaching methods
  • Observe, monitor, and assess students' progress and wellbeing
  • Contribute to the personal development and holistic care of pupils
