Job summary

Watchfield Primary School in Watchfield is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Class Teacher to join our dedicated team and inspire young learners. Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in the EYFS.
  • Outstanding communication skills and a strong commitment to teamwork.
  • A reflective practitioner with a clear commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Secure understanding of child protection and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a broad and balanced EYFS curriculum that is relevant, engaging and appropriately differentiated.
  • Monitor and support the progress, development and wellbeing of all pupils.
  • Facilitate a learning experience that enables every child to achieve their individual potential.
  • Contribute to raising standards of attainment across the EYFS.
  • Support the school’s commitment to providing opportunities for personal growth, enjoyment and wider development.
  • Assist in developing the curriculum and resources.
  • Contribute to the achievement and implementation of the school’s development plan.
  • Plan and prepare high‑quality lessons.
