Job summary

Supply Desk, partnering with a welcoming primary school in the RG9 area, is seeking an EYFS Teacher on a full-time basis to start in January. The role offers MPS/UPS progression and a supportive environment in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging EYFS activities, assess progress, support children including those with SEN, and work closely with TAs and the school team to build strong foundations for learning.

Qualifications

  • QTS is desirable for eligibility.
  • Experience in EYFS or early years settings preferred.
  • Strong understanding of EYFS framework and child development.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Nurturing, creative, and engaging teaching style.
  • Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering engaging, creative, and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Supporting children’s development in communication and language, early literacy, numeracy, and personal, social, and emotional development
  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Observing, assessing, and tracking children’s progress in line with EYFS standards
  • Supporting children of varying abilities, including those with SEN
  • Encouraging curiosity, independence, and confidence through play-based learning
  • Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team

Supply Desk is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the RG9 area to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate early years educator to join a nurturing environment and make a meaningful impact at the foundation stage of pupils’ education.

This role would suit an engaging and creative teacher with a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, who is committed to fostering a love of learning and supporting children’s early development.

As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting children during the most important stage of their development, helping to build strong foundations across all areas of learning.
