Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is assisting a friendly and inclusive primary school in Milton Keynes to recruit a Class Teacher starting September 2026. The role offers either full-time or part-time hours with a permanent appointment preferred.

You will plan and deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum, differentiate for varied ability, and support pupil wellbeing. Collaboration with colleagues and parents is essential.

Qualifications

  • Must hold QTS or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a UK primary school.
  • Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
  • Commitment to pupil development and wellbeing.
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply and will receive mentoring.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Differentiate learning to meet pupil needs across abilities.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide clear feedback to families.
  • Promote positive behaviour and foster independence and resilience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to support outcomes.
  • Contribute to school life through enrichment activities and events.

Class Teacher - Milton Keynes

Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire | Full-Time or Part-Time | September 2026 Start | Permanent Preferred

About You
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting, with KS1 or KS2 experience desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
  • A nurturing, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
  • A strong commitment to raising pupil attainment and supporting whole-child development.
  • ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply and will receive full support and mentoring.
