Job summary

St Catherine's Catholic Primary School invites applications for an experienced class teacher to cover maternity leave from January 2027, with a fixed term ending August 2027 in Year 3. You will be a practising Catholic or supportive of our ethos, an energetic practitioner with a real passion for effective teaching for ages 4–11, and capable of building strong relationships with pupils.

The governors of St Catherine of Siena Catholic Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and dedicated experienced class teacher from January 2027.

This is a fixed term contract covering maternity leave, until August 2027 in Year 3.

As a class teacher, the successful applicant will be:

• A practising Catholic or supportive of the catholic ethos of our school.
• An enthusiastic and excellent practitioner with a real passion for highly effective teaching and learning within an age range of 4-11 years.
