Job summary

Cawthorne CE (VC) Primary School in Barnsley is seeking an enthusiastic teacher for a temporary maternity cover from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027. The post is open to experienced practitioners on MPS and UPS; ECTs and job shares are not suitable.

Commencing 1st January 2027 - temporary contract to cover a maternity leave until 31st December 2027.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated teacher to join our happy and successful school.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent classroom practice and a passion for developing high quality teaching and learning within a Christian context.

The post is open to experienced practitioners on MPS and those on UPS will also be considered.

This post is not suitable for ECTs or job shares.
