Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Peterborough is seeking an MOT Tester / Service Mechanic to join our workshop team. You will conduct DVSA inspections on Class 4 and light commercial vehicles, log findings accurately and perform pre-MOT repairs and routine servicing across a varied customer vehicle mix.

Base in the Peterborough area with a Monday–Friday schedule and Saturdays on a fair team rota. Requires DVSA Smart Card, NVQ/IMI Level 3, full UK licence and your own hand tools; salary £35,000–£45,000 plus

Qualifications

• DVSA Smart Card / MOT Tester Licence is mandatory.
• Level 3 qualification in light vehicle maintenance or equivalent time-served garage background.
• Full UK driving licence and own hand tools required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct DVSA inspections on Class 4 and light commercial vehicles.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 basic per annum (DOE) + team efficiency bonus
• Hours: Monday to Friday schedule + Saturdays operated on a fair team rota basis

Role Overview

Seeking a dedicated MOT Tester / Service Mechanic to join our workshop team. Requirements
