Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Sussex is seeking a dedicated MOT Tester to lead our busy testing bay. You will manage the daily MOT schedule, perform thorough vehicle safety inspections, and ensure flawless DVSA compliance in a relaxed workshop environment.

The role requires a current DVSA MOT Smart Card (Class 4; Class 7 a plus), a proven track record as an accurate tester, knowledge of MOT standards and MOT log software, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Current, valid DVSA MOT Smart Card / Tester qualification (Class 4 required; Class 7 is a plus).
• Proven track record as a confident, accurate MOT Tester.
• Thorough knowledge of DVSA testing standards, compliance, and MOT log software.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily MOT schedule in a busy testing bay.
• Conduct accurate vehicle safety inspections to DVSA standards.
• Maintain flawless DVSA compliance in a relaxed, well-organized environment.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (dependent on experience and MOT test volume output)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM — STRICTLY NO WEEKENDS
