Job summary

Command in Peterborough is looking for an MOT Tester to join a busy, modern workshop. You will focus on MOT testing for vehicles typically under five years old and benefit from a facility designed for efficiency and accuracy.

The role offers a 36,000 base salary plus a 10% performance bonus (OTE £39,600), regular Monday-to-Friday hours, a friendly team, and genuine career progression opportunities within a well-run operation.

Qualifications

• Current or lapsed MOT Tester licence (training available to renew if required)
• Mechanical background with Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOTs on vehicles typically under five years old
• Every vehicle is inspected by the workshop before it reaches you, ensuring defects are identified where possible
• Work in a modern, high-spec workshop designed for efficiency
• Maintain high attention to detail and safety standards in all tests

The workshop is fully equipped with the latest technology and has been purpose-built to create an efficient, enjoyable working environment.

What You'll Need
