Job summary

MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician role in our Nottingham area workshop. You will perform thorough DVSA inspections, log test results, and carry out light service work across a varied client vehicle mix in an updated ATL bay.

This position requires a DVSA Smart Card / MOT Tester Licence, NVQ/IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, and a full UK driving licence with your own tools. Salary £35,000–£45,000 with a team productivity bonus and 28 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Active DVSA Smart Card / MOT Tester Licence (Mandatory).
• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.

Role Overview

Seeking a dedicated MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician to join our expanding workshop team. Operating out of an updated ATL bay supported by front-of-house advisors, you will be responsible for conducting thorough DVSA inspections, logging test results, and carrying out light service repairs across a varied customer vehicle mix.

Requirements

• Active DVSA Smart Card / Valid MOT Tester Licence (Mandatory).
• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time-served garage background).
• Methodical testing approach with strong commitment to DVSA compliance and honest trade standards.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.
