Job summary

phs Group is seeking a Class 2 Service Driver to join our UK operations. You will operate a Class 2 vehicle, collect offensive waste from Euro Bins, and maintain accurate documentation while delivering courteous service.

This permanent role offers a 40-hour week (Mon-Fri, 6am-6pm) with a salary of £35,500 per year and benefits including a company vehicle for business use, ongoing training, and generous holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK manual driving licence (12+ months).
• Category C (LGV Class 2) licence and Driver CPC.
• Current Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 6 points in last 5 years.
• Physically active and safety-conscious.
• Able to work 6am–6pm, 40 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle delivering Euro bins and emptying offensive waste.
• Complete compliance documentation (digital and paper-based).
• Provide professional customer service.
• Return to the depot daily to unload collected waste.
• Routes and schedules are centrally planned for safety and efficiency.

About The Role

Class 2 Service Driver

£35,500 per year | 40 hours guaranteed

Permanent | Monday to Friday | No scheduled weekends

The Class 2 Service Driver role at phs will involve:

• Driving soft compaction vehicle, similar to refuge collection vehicle
• Emptying/Collecting Euro Bins containing offensive waste
• Complete compliance documentation (digital and paper-based)
• Deliver professional and courteous customer service
• Return to the depot daily to unload collected waste

Routes and schedules are centrally planned to ensure efficiency, safety and compliance.

This is a physically active role suited to someone who prefers being on the move.

The ideal candidate for a Class 2 Service Driver at phs will have:

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence (held 12+ months)
• Category C (LGV Class 2) license
• Current Driver CPC card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 6 points (no DR/DD/CD/TT/IN/AC endorsements in last 5 years)
• Able to work within a 6am6pm window (40 hours per week)
• Reliable, safety-conscious and professional
• Good attention to detail
