Job summary

phs Group plc is recruiting a Class 2 Service Driver in the United Kingdom. You will follow a pre-planned daily route visiting healthcare and commercial customers, driving a Class 2 vehicle and collecting Euro Bins with offensive waste.

The role is permanent, Monday to Friday, with no weekends and 40 hours per week. You will handle compliance docs and deliver excellent customer service while returning to the depot to unload daily.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence held for 12+ months.
• Category C (LGV Class 2) licence is essential.
• Current Driver CPC card required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Maximim 6 points on licence in last 5 years.
• Able to work within 6am–6pm window (40 hours/week).
• Reliable, safety-conscious and professional.
• Good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follow pre-planned daily route visiting healthcare and commercial customers.
• Drive a Class 2 vehicle and empty/collect Euro Bins.
• Complete compliance paperwork (digital and paper).
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Return to depot daily to unload collected waste.

Class 2 Service Driver

£16.35 per hour |£38,250 per year | 45 hours guaranteed

Permanent | Monday to Friday | No scheduled weekends

The Class 2 Service Driver role at phs will involve:

You’ll follow a pre-planned daily route visiting healthcare and commercial customers to:

• Driving soft compaction vehicle, similar to refuge collection vehicle
• Emptying/Collecting Euro Bins containing offensive waste
• Complete compliance documentation (digital and paper-based)
• Deliver professional and courteous customer service
• Return to the depot daily to unload collected waste

Routes and schedules are centrally planned to ensure efficiency, safety and compliance.

This is a physically active role suited to someone who prefers being on the move.

The ideal candidate for a Class 2 Service Driver at phs will have:

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence (held 12+ months)
• Category C (LGV Class 2) license
• Current Driver CPC card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 6 points (no DR/DD/CD/TT/IN/AC endorsements in last 5 years)
• Able to work within a 6am–6pm window (40 hours per week)
• Reliable, safety-conscious and professional
• Good attention to detail
