Job summary

phs Group is recruiting for a Class 2 Service Driver in Huntingdon to join our healthcare waste service team. You will operate Soft Compaction Vehicles, follow planned routes using PDA and in-cab tech, and deliver excellent customer service while maintaining safety and compliance.

The role offers a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with no scheduled weekends and a base salary of £34,000 plus bonus (OTE £35,200) and potential additional bonuses. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Category C (Class 2) licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 12 months' driving experience with the relevant licence
• No more than 6 penalty points and no recent IN or DD endorsements
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance
• Good customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Following planned collection routes using PDA and in-cab technology
• Operating specialist Soft Compaction Vehicles
• Collecting and transporting healthcare waste including pharmaceutical, hazardous, non-hazardous and clinical waste
• Emptying and collecting euro bins containing offensive waste
• Completing consignment and waste transfer documentation
• Returning to your allocated depot each day to unload collected waste
• Delivering outstanding customer service whilst working safely and compliantly

What phs Are Looking For:
