Fifth Wheel Recruitment are recruiting for Class 2 Drivers in Farnham to work with our client, providing waste disposal and recycling services. The role requires a Class 2 licence, 12 months of experience, and valid DCPC and Digi-tacho cards. Shift: Mon-Fri 06:00-15:00; temp-to-perm contract; immediate starts available.

Responsibilities

• Driving and operating a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle.

• Working with a loading crew (handballing).
• Assisting with manual movement of domestic wheelie bins.
• Working safely around pedestrians, traffic and other road users.
• Completing vehicle checks at start and end of shift.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday working
• Shift time: 6.00am 15:00pm

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Driving and operating a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle
• Collecting refuse from different local areas each day
• Working with a loading crew (handballing)
• Assisting with the manual movement of domestic wheelie bins
• Working safely around pedestrians, traffic, and other road users
• Completing vehicle checks at the start and end of your shift

All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you:

• You will need to be reliable, punctual and safety conscious.
• You must be comfortable working as part of a team and assisting with physical/manual work when required
• You must have good communication skills
• You must have a positive attitude

You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 6 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
