Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment is seeking a Class 2 Driver in Wokingham for a temp-to-perm role with early starts (04:00–06:00). You will operate a Class 2 refuse vehicle, collect and deliver food waste bins, and work with a loading crew. Training in Waverley is provided.

Immediate starts available and weekly pay are offered. Applicants must have a Class 2 licence, 6 months experience, DCPC and Digi-tacho, and be able to travel to the site. Endorsements DD/TT/DR/CD/IN are not accepted.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 2 driving licence (essential).
• Minimum 6 months Class 2 experience.
• UK DCPC card and Digi-tacho card required.
• May accept up to 6 points; DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements not accepted.
• Able to travel to the training location in Waverley and to the site in Wokingham.

• Driving and operating a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle.
• Collecting and delivering food waste bins.
• Working with a loading crew.
• Assisting with the manual movement of domestic wheelie bins.
• Working safely around pedestrians, traffic, and other road users.

Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour + £2.11 holiday pay = £19.61 per hour total

Shifts:Monday to Friday (04:00 - 06:00 start times)

Driver Type:Class 2 - refuse driver

Experience:6 months class 2 experience - essential

Contract: Temp to Perm (12 weeks)

Previous experience working in the waste industry would be beneficial. One weeks training will be given - this will be in Waverley so its important you can travel.

Hours:

All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you:

You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 6 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
