Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment is seeking a Class 2 Driver in Wokingham to operate a refuse collection vehicle and join a team responsible for waste disposal services. The role includes early shifts (04:00–06:00) with a 12-week temp-to-perm contract and immediate starts.

Weekly pay and overtime opportunities are highlighted, with on-site training anticipated in Waverley. Applicants must have a Class 2 licence, at least 6 months of driving experience, UK DCPC and Digi-tacho cards, and no prohibited

Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour + £2.11 holiday pay = £19.61 per hour total

Shifts:Monday to Friday (04:00 - 06:00 start times)

Driver Type:Class 2 - refuse driver

Experience:6 months class 2 experience - essential

Contract: Temp to Perm (12 weeks)

Previous experience working in the waste industry would be beneficial. One weeks training will be given - this will be in Waverley so its important you can travel.

Hours:

All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you:

You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 6 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
