Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment is seeking Class 2 Drivers in Wokingham to support a waste disposal and recycling client. Shifts start between 04:00–06:00, Monday to Friday, with a 12-week temp-to-perm contract and immediate starts.

You must hold a Class 2 Licence, UK DCPC and Digi-tacho, with up to 6 points allowed (no DD/TT/DR/CD/IN). Travel to the site for shifts is required; visa/relocation support is not provided.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid Class 2 driving licence, UK DCPC card and Digi-tacho card.
• Up to 6 points accepted; no DD/TT/DR/CD/IN endorsements.
• Must be up to date with Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle.
• Collect and deliver food waste bins as required.
• Work with a loading crew to unload/load bins.
• Assist with manual movement of domestic wheelie bins.
• Maintain safety around pedestrians and other road users.

Fifth Wheel Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Drivers in Wokingham to work with our client, who provide all types of business with commercial waste disposal and recycling.

Previous experience working in the waste industry would be beneficial. One weeks training will be given - this will be in Waverley so its important you can travel.

All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you:

You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 6 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
