Job summary

Absolute Sales in Weybridge, Surrey, is seeking an experienced Class 2 HGV driver for a structured Monday-to-Friday role with regular daytime routes, no overnight stays, and the security of joining a long-established business.

You will carry out multi-drop deliveries across Surrey and London, load and secure goods, perform daily vehicle checks, adhere to drivers’ hours and tachograph rules, and provide excellent service to regular customers while maintaining a clean, presentable vehicle.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 / Category C licence is required.
• Driver CPC certification.
• Previous HGV driving experience.
• Multi-drop experience preferred.
• Professional and customer-focused approach.
• Reliable and well organised.
• Comfortable with manual handling.
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and tachograph requirements.
• Clean driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completing approximately 10–15 customer deliveries per day.
• Delivering thermoplastic sheet, rod and tubing.
• Loading and securing the vehicle safely.
• Unloading goods at customer premises.
• Working to structured daily routes.
• Providing excellent service to regular customers.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Operating the tachograph correctly.
• Reporting damages, discrepancies and vehicle issues.
• Maintaining a clean and presentable vehicle.
• Assisting with warehouse or loading duties where required.

Class 2 HGV Multi-Drop Driver

Location: Weybridge, Surrey
Salary: £35,000 basic £1,200 accident-free bonus competitive annual discretionary bonus overtime benefits
Hours: 42.5 contractual hours per week
Monday to Friday – core hours 7:00am–4:30pm
Start and finish times may vary depending on route requirements
Permanent No overnight stays

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver looking for a structured Monday-to-Friday role with regular routes, no overnight stays and the security of joining a long-established business.

Our client is a leading distributor of thermoplastic sheet, rod and tubing, supplying customers throughout the fabrication, engineering and signage sectors.

The Role

You will be responsible for multi-drop deliveries to customers across Surrey, London and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include:

• Completing approximately 10–15 customer deliveries per day
• Delivering thermoplastic sheet, rod and tubing
• Loading and securing the vehicle safely
• Unloading goods at customer premises
• Working to structured daily routes
• Providing excellent service to regular customers
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Operating the tachograph correctly
• Reporting damages, discrepancies and vehicle issues
• Maintaining a clean and presentable vehicle
• Assisting with warehouse or loading duties where required
• Following company Health & Safety procedures

This is a physical delivery role and applicants should be comfortable assisting with the handling of materials.

Hours

The contractual working week is 42.5 hours, Monday to Friday.

Core hours are 7:00am–4:30pm, although start and finish times can vary depending on the route. Appropriate driving breaks are taken in accordance with drivers’ hours requirements.
