Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is recruiting a Class 2 Driver for our busy Chepstow site. You will deliver a range of goods including white goods, kitchen units and worktops, typically completing 12–15 drops per day, with a driver mate when required.

Shifts Monday to Friday 06:00–16:30, pay £15.65 per hour, with 28 days holiday pro rata and potential permanent opportunities for the right candidate. This temp-to-perm role offers long-term career prospects with a global logistics leader.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months' Class 2 driving experience.
• Multidrop delivery experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points with no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network.
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating a Class 2 vehicle in line with company and legal requirements.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with VOSA regulations.
• Carrying out both home and kerbside deliveries.
• Delivering white goods, kitchen units and worktops.
• Completing approximately 12-15 drops per day.
• Using handheld scanners and completing delivery paperwork.
• Providing excellent customer service at every delivery.
• Working safely as part of a two-person delivery team where applicable.

We are currently recruiting Class 2 Day Drivers for immediate starts at our client's busy site in Chepstow. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity with a global leader in transport and logistics, offering long-term career prospects for the right candidates.
