Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy logistics operation in Barking. You will deliver parcels across Essex and London, completing 6-10 drops per shift with a well-planned route and responsibility for loading and unloading your own vehicle.

This role is hands-on and offers a Monday to Friday pattern, 40 hours per week, starting as early as 05:30 AM. Temporary to permanent after 16 weeks, with access to specialist equipment such as an electric pump truck.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.
• Multi-drop experience preferred.
• Comfortable with loading and unloading deliveries throughout the day.
• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused approach.
• Good understanding of road safety and transport regulations.
• No more than 3 points on licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels across Essex and London.
• Load and unload own vehicle.

• Ensure safety and customer satisfaction on every drop.

Pay Rate: £19.00 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy and well-established logistics operation. You'll be delivering parcels across Essex and London, completing 6-10 drops per shift with a well-planned and manageable route.
