Job summary

Intrepid Global is seeking an experienced Class 2 Skip Driver in Manchester for ongoing agency work. The role involves operating Class 2 Skip vehicles, collecting skips on scheduled routes, and performing daily vehicle checks with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You may work with a driver’s mate on some days or operate independently. The position offers early finishes and reliable, ongoing work with immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Skip or RoRo experience preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Good understanding of road safety and transport regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 2 Skip vehicles and complete scheduled collections.
• Work with a driver’s mate on some days, or independently on others.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete paperwork.
• Follow all road safety procedures and site rules.

We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 Skip Driver for ongoing agency work based in Manchester, M17.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable driver looking for consistent work, early finishes and additional earning opportunities.

The Role

You will be responsible for operating Class 2 Skip and completing scheduled collections safely and efficiently.

Some days you will be working with a driver's mate, while on other days you may be working independently.

Duties Include:

• Driving Class 2 Skip vehicles.
• Completing scheduled collections.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Completing relevant paperwork.
• Following all road safety and site procedures.
• Managing your daily workload efficiently.

Pay & Benefits

• £17.76 per hour
• £5 daily lunch allowance
• Up to £39 one-man lift bonus
• The one-man bonus is available for qualifying lifts completed when working without a mate.
• 5:00am starts
• Usually finished by 2:00pm or earlier
• Paid for the full day, even if you finish early
• Ongoing agency work
• Immediate start available
