Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment are seeking a Class 2 Driver in Harlow to operate a skip (hookloader/RoRo) vehicle and deliver/collect skips from both commercial and residential sites.

You will work Mon–Fri starting around 06:30 with optional Saturday overtime, earning £21.85 per hour plus holiday pay. The role requires a Class 2 licence with 6 months experience, UK DCPC, and a valid Digi-tacho card. Visa or relocation support is not provided.

Qualifications

• Class 2 driving licence with at least 6 months experience.
• UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card required.
• Endorsements DD, TT, DR, CD, IN not accepted.
• WTD regulations up-to-date.

Responsibilities

• Driving and operating a Class 2 skip (hookloader/RoRo) vehicle.
• Delivering and collecting skips from commercial and residential sites.
• Working safely around pedestrians, traffic, and other road users.
• Complete daily checks and report any defects.

You will be operating a Class 2skip (hookloader) vehicle (a RoRo). 6 months previous experience is required.

All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you:

You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence with 6 months previous experience and you must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You must be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and be able to work independently when required. You must be reliable, punctual and safety conscious.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
