Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment seeks a Class 2 driver to operate skip vehicles on commercial and residential sites in the Rochford area. You will deliver and collect skips, perform routine checks and follow safety procedures. 6 months of experience, a valid Class 2 licence with skip & hookloader, DCPC and Digi-tacho are required.

Applicants must be physically fit, reliable, punctual and able to travel to the site. VISA and relocation support are not provided.

Qualifications

• You must hold a Class 2 driving licence with skip and hookloader operation.
• UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card are required.
• 6 months driving experience is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 2 skip (hookloader/RoRo) vehicle.
• Deliver and collect skips from commercial and residential sites.
• Work safely around pedestrians, traffic and other road users.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Adhere to site safety procedures and high standards of work.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Driving and operating a Class 2skip (hookloader/RoRo) vehicle
• Delivering and collecting skips from commercial and residential sites
• Working safely around pedestrians, traffic, and other road users
• Complete daily checks and report any defects
• All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you

• You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence with 6 months previous experience and you must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.
• Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
• As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.
• You must be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and be able to work independently when required.
• You must be reliable, punctual and safety conscious.
• You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
• We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
