Job summary

Workmate Agency is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join a busy waste management operation in Rochford.

You will deliver and collect skips from commercial and residential sites, ensuring safe transport and disposal in line with company procedures and environmental regulations. The role is full-time with weekday hours 6:30am–5:00pm and optional Saturday overtime, paid weekly.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence is required.
• Driver CPC Qualification Card is required.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• Skip driving experience is essential.
• Good knowledge of UK driver hours and road safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, collect, and transport skips to and from commercial and residential customer sites.
• Safely transport and dispose of waste in line with company procedures and environmental regulations.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
• Complete all delivery and collection paperwork accurately.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
• Follow all road transport legislation, driver hours regulations, and health & safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle at all times.

Location: Rochford, SS4

Pay Rate: £18.50 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 5:00pm

Optional Saturday Overtime: 6:30am - 1:00pm

About The Role

Workmate Agency are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join a busy waste management operation based in Rochford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver with previous skip vehicle experience looking for ongoing, full-time work with regular weekday hours and optional Saturday overtime.

Key Responsibilities

What We Offer
