Job summary

DHL Supply Chain at Morrisons Bridgewater is seeking a Class 2 Driver to support multi-drop deliveries across the South West and South Wales. You will drive safely, complete vehicle checks, and handle goods with care while adhering to Drivers’ Hours regulations.

The role is permanent, full-time with a rolling 5-in-7 shift pattern starting early in the morning. A valid HGV Class 2 license, Driver CPC, and tachograph card are required, with some driving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 driving license, Driver CPC, and tachograph card required.
• Minimum 6 months of recent driving experience preferred.
• Physically fit due to manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries to customer premises in the South West and South Wales regions.
• Drive safely and in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Complete regular vehicle checks.
• Manual handling of customer products.

Pay Rate: £39,519 + £3,000.00 annual bonus

Grade: P

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: 5 out of 7 (Rolling Rota) Average start time between 4am - 6am

Typical day may involve:

• Multi-drop store deliveries of cages and pallets to customer premises to locations in the South West and South Wales regions
• Driving safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Complying with health and safety standards, including The Highway Code and vehicle regulations.
• Regularly completing vehicle checks.
• Manual handling of customer products.

This role would suit people who:

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving License (C), Driver CPC Qualification, and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 6 months of recent driving experience.
• Are physically fit, as this role involves high levels of manual handling.
