Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver based in Coventry to join our Transport team. The role involves delivering customer products safely, professionally and on time while representing DHL at customer locations across the UK.

Flexibility is needed, including nights out when required, with start times from 4:00 am to 14:00 pm. Join us to develop your driving career with a global logistics leader.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Hold a valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally have at least 6 months' recent HGV driving experience.
• Be flexible regarding working hours and up to two nights out per week.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries to customer locations.
• Drive safely and in line with Drivers' Hours regulations.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure loads are transported and delivered safely.
• Provide a professional service to customers.

We are looking for HGV Class 2 Driver to join our Transport team. This is a varied driving role where no two days are exactly the same. You will be responsible for delivering customer products safely, professionally and on time while representing DHL at customer locations across the UK.

The role requires flexibility, including the ability to complete nights out when operationally required, so we are looking for drivers who are comfortable with varied routes and working patterns.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Completing multi-drop deliveries to customer locations including up to two nights out per week when required
• Driving safely and efficiently while complying with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive requirements
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Ensuring loads are transported and delivered safely
• Completing manual handling activities as required
• Providing a professional and helpful service to our customers
• Following DHL Health & Safety standards, The Highway Code and all relevant road transport regulations
• Completing nights out when required as part of the role
• Working flexibly to support changing operational and customer requirements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You will need to:

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

SUPPORT & DEVELOPMENT

Whether you're an experienced HGV driver or still developing your professional driving career, you'll be supported by our Transport team.

You'll complete the appropriate assessment and induction process and receive ongoing support to help you understand our customers, routes, safety requirements and ways of working.
