Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Rugby is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver for a permanent, full-time role. You will operate a 26T refrigerated vehicle with tail-lift, perform routine checks, and ensure on-time deliveries with safety at the forefront.

The role involves 4-6 drops per day to BP forecourts, strict adherence to Drivers' Hours rules, and a strong focus on health and safety. On-site facilities include parking and canteen.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C) and Driver CPC Qualification.
• Possess a Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Driving a 26T refrigerated vehicle with tail-lift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Complete vehicle checks regularly and adhere to health and safety standards.
• Deliveries to BP forecourts with 4-6 drops per day.
• Comply with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products
• Driving a 26T refrigerated vehicle with tail-lift
• Completing 4-6 Drops a day to BP forecourts

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
