Job summary

Driver Hire Portsmouth is seeking a reliable HGV Class 1 Driver for immediate temporary assignments in Portsmouth and surrounding areas. You will operate Class 1 vehicles for refrigeration, general haulage, and pallet deliveries with a focus on timely, safe deliveries.

Portsmouth-based agency work offers flexible shifts, ongoing opportunities, and competitive hourly rates (£16.95–£20.50). Start date is immediate, and CPC/Tacho and a clean licence are required to begin.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid driver’s licence with no more than 6 points.
• Valid Class 1 (HGV/LGV, Category C+E) driving licence.
• Valid CPC and Tacho Card.
• Proven experience in refrigeration, general haulage and pallets.
• Ability to adapt to different assignments and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 1 vehicle for various delivery assignments, such as refrigeration, general haulage, and pallet transportation.
• Ensure timely and safe deliveries, adhering to company standards.
• Flexibility to adapt to different roles within the temporary assignments.
