Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client in Motherwell. The role involves multdrop deliveries and collections, with a Class 2 Licence, UK DCPC and Digi-tacho cards required.

Shifts run Monday to Friday with day and night starts, and weekly pay is provided. A full site induction and ongoing shifts support professional development for drivers based in Scotland.

Qualifications

• Class 2 Licence holder with 12 months driving experience.
• UK DCPC card and Digi-tacho card required.
• No DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
• Must be UK resident and able to travel to site.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle.
• Perform mult drop deliveries and collections.
• Complete industry standard paperwork and vehicle checks.

Pay Rate: £17.00 to £24.00 p/h

Shifts: Monday to Friday, Day and Night shifts (various start times)

Experience: 12 months Class 2 experience is essential

Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for reliable, experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team in Motherwell to work with our client who is a reputable courier and distribution company with a strong presence in Scotland.

HGV Class 2 Driver - The role & responsibilities:

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle
• Multidrop deliveries and collections
• Industry standard paperwork and vehicle checks will also be required.

About you:

• You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience in commercial driving.
• You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.
• Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
• As a professional driver, you will have a good knowledge of the Working Time Directive and be able to manage your hours accordingly.
• You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
