Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment in Broxburn, Scotland is seeking reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers for multi-drop deliveries for a reputable courier and distribution client with a strong presence in Scotland.

You must have a Class 2 licence, 12 months of commercial driving experience, UK DCPC and a valid Digi-tacho card; up to 6 points may be accepted with no DD/TT/DR/CD/IN endorsements. Expect regular shifts, training, and immediate starts.

Qualifications

• Must have Class 2 driving licence and at least 12 months experience in commercial driving.
• UK DCPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digi-tacho card required.
• UK residency required; visa assistance not provided.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle.
• Perform multidrop deliveries and collections.
• Complete industry standard paperwork and vehicle checks.

Pay Rate: £17.00 to £24.00 p/h

Shifts: Monday to Friday, Day and Night shifts (various start times)

Experience: 12 months Class 2 experience is essential

HGV Class 2 Driver - The role & responsibilities:

• Driving aClass 2 vehicle
• Multidrop deliveries andcollections
• Industry standard paperwork and vehicle checks will also be required.

About you:

You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience in commercial driving.You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot acceptDD, TT, DR, CD, INendorsements.

As a professional driver, you will have a good knowledge of the Working Time Directive and be able to manage your hours accordingly.

You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
