Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment in Broxburn is seeking reliable HGV Class 2 drivers for a courier and distribution client with a strong Scotland presence.

You will perform multidrop deliveries and collections, with day and night shifts, and must have 12 months Class 2 experience, DCPC, Digi-tacho, and no disqualifying endorsements. UK resident only; armed forces friendly.

Qualifications

• 12 months Class 2 experience is essential.
• You must have UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.
• Endorsements: cannot have DD, TT, DR, CD or IN.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle.
• Multidrop deliveries and collections.

Shifts: Monday to Friday, Day and Night shifts (various start times)

Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for reliable, experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team in Broxburn to work with our client who is a reputable courier and distribution company with a strong presence in Scotland.

HGV Class 2 Driver - The role & responsibilities:

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle
• Multidrop deliveries and collections
• Industry standard paperwork and vehicle checks will also be required.

About you:

You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience in commercial driving. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.

As a professional driver, you will have a good knowledge of the Working Time Directive and be able to manage your hours accordingly.

You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
