Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment are seeking reliable HGV Class 1 drivers to join our Broxburn team for collections and multi-drop work with a reputable courier and distribution client in Scotland.

You will drive a Class 1 vehicle, perform multidrop deliveries and complete the required paperwork, vehicle checks, and daily records. Immediate starts and weekly pay are offered, with ongoing shifts.

Qualifications

• Class 1 driving licence held for 12 months or more.
• UK DCPC card and Digi-tacho card required.
• Must be able to manage driving hours under Working Time Directive.
• UK resident with right to work in Broxburn, Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 vehicle.
• Perform multidrop deliveries and collections.

The role & responsibilities

• Driving aClass 1 vehicle
• Multidrop deliveries andcollections
• Industry standard paperwork and vehicle checks will also be required.

About you

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience in commercial driving. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot acceptDD, TT, DR, CD, INendorsements.

As a professional driver, you will have a good knowledge of the Working Time Directive and be able to manage your hours accordingly.

You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
