Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment in Motherwell is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver for collection and multi-drop work with a reputable courier and distribution client in Scotland.

You must have 12 months Class 2 experience, UK DCPC card, and a valid Digi-tacho card; up to 6 points may be accepted. You will be UK resident and able to travel to site for shifts.

Qualifications

• 12 months Class 2 experience is essential.
• UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card required.
• Maximum 6 points on licence; DD/TT/DR/CD/IN endorsements not accepted.
• Knowledge of Working Time Directive and ability to manage hours.

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle.
• Multidrop deliveries and collections.
• Complete industry standard paperwork and vehicle checks.

Pay Rate: £17.00 to £24.00 p/h

Shifts: Monday to Friday, Day and Night shifts (various start times)

Experience: 12 months Class 2 experience is essential

Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for reliable, experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team in Motherwell to work with our client who is a reputable courier and distribution company with a strong presence in Scotland.

HGV Class 2 Driver - The role & responsibilities:

• Driving aClass 2 vehicle
• Multidrop deliveries andcollections
• Industry standard paperwork and vehicle checks will also be required.

About you:

You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience in commercial driving. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.

As a professional driver, you will have a good knowledge of the Working Time Directive and be able to manage your hours accordingly.

You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
