Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment are recruiting Class 2 Drivers in Cambuslang, Glasgow to work with our client, who is one of the UK's leading logistics & distribution companies for a well known British retailer of DIY products and home & garden wares.

This is a customer facing role with two-person crews, delivering to customer homes and some store deliveries. You must hold a UK Class 1 licence, DCPC and Digi-tacho, and be a UK resident with the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Must have Class 1 driving licence and at least 12 months' experience driving commercially.
• A UK DCPC card is required and a valid Digi-tacho card.
• Visas or relocation assistance are not provided.

Role & Responsibilities

This is a Customer facing role, and you will be delivering items to customer homes. You must be well presented and have a pleasant demanor, with the ability to communicate with people at all levels.

About you

Youmusthave your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least12 monthsexperience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not acceptDD, TT, DR, CD, INendorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements. Youmustbe a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs or relocation) and have the relevant Right To Work documentation.
