Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is recruiting for a Class 2 Driver in Bolton to undertake tail lift deliveries of palletised goods. The role runs on full-time shifts Monday to Friday with 04:30 starts, and involves 90% palletised loads with multi-drop deliveries (about 4–5 drops daily).

You will perform vehicle checks and keep paperwork up to date. The ideal candidate has a Class 2 driving licence, 12 months of driving experience, UK DCPC, and a valid Digi-tacho card.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence and DCPC card.
• Digi-tacho card required.
• UK resident with the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle.
• 90% palletised goods.
• Multi-drop deliveries and collections (around 4–5 drops a day).
• Carry out vehicle checks and complete paperwork.

As this is a customer facing role, we are looking for people who are clean and tidy and havethe ability to deal with different types of people.

About you:

Youmusthave your Class 2 Driving Licence andhold a minimum of12 months driving experience on your licence.

You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not acceptDD, TT, DR, CD, INendorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements.
