Job summary

Edinburgh-based role for a Class 2 Multidrop Delivery Driver within a builders merchant environment. You will provide an efficient delivery service across sites, carry out vehicle checks and help in yard and warehouse duties.

Full-time permanent position with Monday to Friday hours 07:00-16:30, some Saturdays 08:00-12:00, training provided, pension and development programmes offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold Class 2 (Category C) LGV licence and a DQC.
• Experience in multidrop delivery is advantageous.
• Good customer-facing skills and reliability required.

Responsibilities

• Providing an efficient, timely and dependable delivery service.
• Carrying out vehicle checks on a routine basis.
• Keeping yard, delivery area and vehicles clean, tidy and safe.
• Assisting in yard and warehouse duties as required.
• Serving customers and supporting team mates.

Our client is a well-respected builders merchant group with branches across the UK. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Class 2 multidrop Delivery Driver based out of their Edinburgh branch. This is a full time permanent position; the role includes:

• Providing an efficient, timely and dependable delivery service
• Carrying out appropriate vehicle checks on a routine basis
• Making sure you and your vehicle are always safe and secure
• Keeping your yard clean, tidy and well organised
• Working in the yard and warehouse
• Serving customers
• Supporting your team mates

You don't need to know about the products or the industry as full training will be provided; all you need is to:
