Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking a Class 2 Driver in Lichfield to handle and deliver carpets, including multi-drop deliveries and vehicle checks.

The role requires a Class 2 Licence, UK DCPC and Digi-tacho, with at least 12 months’ commercial driving experience. Applicants must be UK residents with valid Right To Work documentation; some points may be accepted but DD/TT/DR/CD are not.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
• At least 12 months commercial driving experience.
• Must have UK DCPC and Digi-tacho cards.
• Endorsements DD/TT/DR/CD not accepted; up to 6 points allowed.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to WTD regulations and site safety rules.
• Maintain professional, customer-facing conduct on deliveries.

As this is a customer/client facing role, we are looking for people who are clean and tidy and have the ability to deal with different types of people.

About you:

You must have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.

As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements and you will be required to complete a Drug & Alcohol test and also a driving assessment.

You must be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs or relocation) and have the relevant Right To Work documentation.
