Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment are recruiting Class 1 drivers in Bradford to work with a leading Logistics & Distribution company. Competitive hourly pay and immediate starts with weekly Friday payroll. Full-time shifts Mon–Fri starting around 07:30 with secure on-site parking.

Applicants should have a Class 1 licence, 2+ years’ experience, andMultidrop expertise. UK DCPC and Digi‑tacho cards required. This role is customer‑facing and site induction is provided.

Qualifications

• Class 1 (Cat C+E) driving licence is mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years’ driving experience on your licence.
• Multidrop experience and its operations.
• UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.
• Right To Work in the UK and residency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 (Cat C+E) vehicle for multi‑drop deliveries and collections.
• Handle palletised goods and perform vehicle checks.
• Complete standard paperwork and comply with WTD regulations.
• Maintain professional, customer‑facing conduct at all times.

Job Title: Class 1 Multi-drop Delivery Driver

Location: Bradford

Pay Rates: £16.00 to £18.19 p/h

Shifts: Full-time hours - Monday to Friday working with 0730 starts

Experience: Class 1 drivers must:

• Hold a minimum of 2 years’ driving experience on your licence


• Must have Multidrop experience and in its operations:
  
  
  
  • Safe opening and closing of curtains
  
  
  • Correctly securing loads using straps and other restraints (mainly ratchet and strap)
  
  
  • Awareness of load distribution and vehicle stability
  
  
  • Working safely at height where necessary
  
  
  • Using a T/Lift (Column or Underslung)
  
  
  • Operating an electric pallet truck

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Driving a Class 1 (Cat C+E) vehicle


• Palletised goods

As this is a customer facing role, we are looking for people who are clean and tidy and havethe ability to deal with different types of people.

About you:

Youmusthave your Class 1 Driving Licence andhold a minimum of 2 years’ driving experience on your licence.

You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, INendorsements.As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements.

Youmustbe a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs or relocation) and have the relevant Right To Work documentation.
