Job summary

Booker is seeking a delivery driver in Redruth for a part-time role (3 days per week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday). You will drive locally, load and unload stock, and ensure orders reach customers on time with a high level of service.

Ideal candidates hold a CatC / 18T licence with at least two years of driving experience and strong literacy/numeracy. A positive attitude and good customer interaction are essential.

Qualifications

• CatC / 18T Licence / Class 2 is required.
• Two years of driving experience preferred.
• Delivery driving experience is preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries and load/unload stock.
• Good literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the delivery vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Make timely deliveries to regular customers and maintain relationships.

This role is a part time role, working 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You'll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You'll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

CatC / 18T Licence / Class 2

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
