Job summary

Booker in Leicester is seeking a delivery driver to join our local team. Working around 45 hours per week on an Any 5 from 7 contract, you will drive locally and build relationships with regular customers, ensuring timely deliveries and high service levels.

You will load stock at the branch, unload at customer premises, and complete paperwork accurately. CatC / 18T licence and at least two years driving experience are required; prior delivery experience is preferred.

• CatC / 18T Licence is required.
• Two years driving experience is required.
• Delivery driving experience is preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good literacy and numeracy are required.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

Working on an Any 5 from 7 contract, our shift patterns will include some weekend working.

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You'll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You'll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

CatC / 18T Licence

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
