Job summary

Booker in Scotland is seeking drivers for local delivery routes. You will be responsible for loading stock, delivering to regular customers, and unloading at premises to ensure on-time service.

The role requires a Cat C / 18T Licence / Class 2 and strong literacy and numeracy. It is a 7-day operation with weekend work possible, and full CPC training hours are provided to support your evolving role.

Qualifications

• Delivery experience with local customers preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Able to read and complete basic paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• Make sure customers' shelves are stocked with required products.
• Load stock into the vehicle and unload at customer premises.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.

Do you want more local driving and be a valued member of a delivery team? This may be the role for you. You will enjoy a varied role driving locally as well as building relationships with our regular customers.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

This is a 7 day operation, our shift patternsmay include some weekend working.

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You'll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You'll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

Cat C / 18T Licence / Class 2

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
