Job summary

Booker is seeking a local delivery driver in Hull to join our delivery team, working 45 hours per week to serve our customers with timely deliveries and a professional service.

You will be responsible for loading at the branch, delivering to customers, and completing all paperwork accurately while maintaining safety and customer care standards.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• CatC / 18T licence required.
• Previous delivery driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch.
• Unload at customer premises and ensure delivery accuracy.
• Complete paperwork accurately.

Do you want more local driving and be a valued member of a delivery team? This may be the role for you. Working45 hours per week you will enjoy a varied role driving locally as well as building relationships with our regular customers.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

Working on an Any 5 from 7 contract, our shift patterns will include some weekend working.

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You'll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You'll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

CatC / 18T Licence

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
