Job summary

Pertemps Logistic Contracts is seeking an experienced Class 1 Shunter Driver for a client site in Ashford. The role involves shunting trailers in and out of bays, moving trailers around the yard, and ensuring safe and legal operation at all times.

Essential requirements include 1 year C+E experience, a clean licence (no more than 6 points), a Digi card, and CPC. Previous shunting experience is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• 1 year C+E experience required.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.

Responsibilities

• Shunt trailers in and out of bays.
• Move trailers around the yard while ensuring safe operation.
• Escort drivers to the waiting area as needed.
• Take keys from vehicles and complete paperwork for trailer moves to report any damage.
