Job summary

Questech Recruitment is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver / Shunter to join a busy operation in Doncaster.

The role involves shunting vehicles around the site and driving on the road to deliver and collect vehicles. Working on a 4 on, 4 off day shift, you will perform vehicle checks, complete paperwork and follow safety procedures. An immediate start is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence is required.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Previous Class 1 driving or shunting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shunt and position vehicles safely around the site.
• Deliver and collect vehicles from different locations.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects.
• Complete relevant paperwork.
• Follow road safety and site procedures.
• Support the wider team when required.

Pay: £16.00 per hour
Shift: 4 on, 4 off days

• Delivering and collecting vehicles from different locations
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Completing relevant paperwork
• Following road safety and site procedures
• Supporting the wider team when required

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 1 driving or shunting experience
• A reliable and safety-conscious approach
• Comfortable working a 4 on, 4 off day shift pattern
